Is tile and grout cleaning safe for natural stone?
It can be, when it's done with stone in mind. Some products that work on ceramic tile can dull or etch natural stone such as marble, so it's worth having stone cleaned with stone in mind.
Why does my grout keep getting dirty?
Grout is porous, so it soaks up dirt, soap scum and spills. Cleaning removes what has built up, and sealing helps slow it from soaking in again.
Do you clean and seal shower grout?
Yes. We clean tile and grout in showers, shower floors and benches, and bathroom floors, and seal them when it suits the stone.
How often should stone be sealed?
It depends on the stone, how much use it gets and how wet or messy the area is. A kitchen counter and a guest bathroom floor don't need the same schedule. Send us a photo and we'll tell you what we'd suggest.
