Different floors wear in different ways. Terrazzo and concrete scratch and dull, while travertine and limestone can look worn or stained.
Terrazzo and concrete floors
Terrazzo and concrete floors lose their look from foot traffic, scratching and years of wear. Terrazzo refinishing in NYC and on Long Island is part of our work, along with concrete floor refinishing. We grind, hone and polish with diamond abrasives to take out scratches, etching and dullness, then seal.
Travertine floor restoration and limestone floor polishing
Travertine and limestone can turn dull, scratched or stained over time. We restore the surface so the floor looks even and clean again.

I was stuck in a very upsetting situation as my old range died and all the replacements available today require a 30 inch wide opening (mine was 29 inches) and more depth than I had. Rust and oil stain removal is one of the services we offer. Whether a stain comes out fully depends on the stone and the stain, so photos help us give you an honest answer.
